The Shrine Church of Saint Stanislaus has a long tradition of love for beauty. Visiting artists have acclaimed
the acoustic properties of the church as among the best in the entire city. The church hosts
a year-long concert series, which is presented in the same spirit of appreciation for
beauty in the visual and musical arts.
The parish also hosts a number of other social events through the year, which are listed below.

Four Eagle Award Benefit
Parishioners enjoy this annual benefit that honors an individual or organization that
has been especially noteworthy in building up the greater Saint Stanislaus community.
This year's award will be presented to former Councilman
Ed Rybka Jr., a long-time parishioner, and our present Councilman Tony Brancatelli,
for their outstanding work in our neighborhood.

Master Woodcarver Timothy Riffle's recently completed work will be blessed and dedicated
at this evening's liturgy, the Shrine Church's monthly Mass for the Beatification of John Paul II.
The theme of this month's liturgy will revolve around Mary, the Mother of Divine Mercy.

Master Singers, Inc. Chorale of Northeast Ohio
Master Singers
continues to garner international recognition for its aggressive premiering of
new 20th & 21st century choral compositions and has become critically acclaimed as one of Ohio's
fastest growing and most prestigious community based choral ensembles.
Returning for their 3rd appearance at Shrine Church of Saint Stanislaus, the Master Singers, Inc.
Chorale of Northeast Ohio presented a concert of world premieres and commissioned
works written and dedicated to the Shrine Church of Saint Stanislaus, and to the memory of
Pope John Paul II and Fr. William Gulas, OFM.
Master Singers, Inc. premiered REQUIEM by the noted Welsh composer, Wayne Davies and a
special premiere performance of “Zdrowas Mario” (Ave Maria) written by the acclaimed Ohio composer,
Jason Metheney and sung in Polish. Other dedication works included “The Vatican Magnificat” and
"Pie Jesu" by British composer, J.J. Hutchings. Also appearing were the Master Singers Chamber
Orchestra and guest soloists.

Red welcomed Winter and saluted the Holiday season with this unusual program.
Cleveland Heights' 15-year-old violin virtuoso Caroline Goulding shared her bracing performance of
"Winter" from Vivaldi's "The Four Seasons", followed by chorus and vocal soloists reprising one of
Red's most successful concerts: Jonathan Sheffer's arrangement of Heinrich Schutz's "The Christmas Story."

Advent Lessons and Carols
The Lyceum Schola Cantorum and the Lyceum Children's Choir presented a celebration of the
beautiful season of Advent in Scripture and Song. Gregorian Chant, Latin polyphony,
and English carols proper to Advent were heard along with selected readings from the
Old and New Testament prophets of Christ's birth.
The Lyceum is a preparatory school that provides a classical, Catholic,
Fine Arts and Liberal Arts education to students in grades 7-12. All Lyceum
students sing in the Schola Cantorum. Find out more at
